Taiwan has been a favorite Asian destination for a lot of tourists around the world. It is filled with amazingly beautiful sceneries. Although it is impossible to cover the entire landscape in just one visit, one can certainly try. Some travel experts advise that you should visit Taiwan at least once in your lifetime.
Currently there are nine national parks in Taiwan. They are breathtaking and memorable. The lush natural beauty continues to captivate me and millions of locals and international tourists.
Splendid temples dotted throughout the island of Taiwan. Friendly locals always welcome visitors to these temples regardless of their religious beliefs.
Taiwan is a mountainous island. Thickly forested mountains blanket two-thirds of the island of Taiwan. With such scenery, it is a paradise for nature lovers. The hiking opportunities on the impressive summits offer tourists a glimpse of Taiwan’s glory.
In my opinion, the first and most important stop on any visitor’s travel plan should be the National Palace Museum after arriving in Taiwan. With more than 700,000 Chinese Imperial artifacts, it is one of the largest collections in the world.
One of the many reasons why people love to visit Taiwan is “food.” It offers a huge variety of food from elegant restaurants to mouth-watering street vendors, plus local food at the bustling night markets.
I am not a vegetarian, but I do love vegetables. It was wonderful to have discovered an excellent restaurant that offers a large scale vegan buffet. Savory vegetarian dishes are familiar and delicious. I do have plenty of nostalgia for certain dishes, but I always experiment other things. Different cuisine stations present various interesting dishes with fresh vegetables. A Chinese Dim Sum station provides a variety of vegetarian dumplings. For dessert, they even have Haagen Dazs ice cream!
Many foreign visitors to Taiwan told me that the open-minded friendliness is the strength and resilience they found charming about Taiwan.
My trip to Taiwan encompassed the ideal balance of relaxation and adventure. As is often the case with traveling to Taiwan, the incredible trip was linked to the melancholy feeling of saying good-bye to family and friends in Taiwan at the inevitable end of my journey.
Due to the advancement of technology, we now always feel connected to one another no matter the physical distance between us. However, getting together with family and friends in person are still my most cherished moments in life. I came home with more unforgettable experiences than I could fit in my luggage.
